Patricia Dorff is Managing Director of Publications at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), overseeing CFR publications and maintaining the Council’s high editorial standards. She has more than three decades of publishing experience with a diverse background in international relations, editing, production, and marketing. Dorff was an editor of Foreign Affairs Chronology (1991–95) and associate editor of Foreign Affairs magazine (1988–95), which was recently ranked as one of the most influential journals among print and broadcast media in a survey of U.S. opinion leaders. Dorff graduated with combined honor degrees in history and political science from the University of California—Los Angeles, received an MA in international relations from Georgetown University, and has an MA in philosophy in international relations from Columbia University. Dorff lives in New York City with her husband.
